About

Chaperones is a diverse class of proteins that mediate the proper folding, assembly, and transport of other polypeptides and protein complexes in cells. This concept investigates the mechanisms by which these proteins prevent misfolding and aggregation, facilitate protein remodeling, maintain cellular proteostasis under normal and stress conditions, and their critical roles in biological processes and associated protein-misfolding diseases.
