Center-periphery Trade
Center-Periphery Trade is a structural model of international economic relations in which core (center) economies dominate global trade networks by controlling capital, technology, and high-value-added production, while peripheral economies are relegated to the export of raw materials and low-cost labor, thereby reproducing asymmetric dependencies within the global capitalist system.
