Cavity Noise

Cavity Noise is a localized aerodynamic noise source arising from the resonant interaction of shear-layer instabilities and acoustic feedback within an enclosed or semi-enclosed geometric cavity, distinguished from other flow-induced noise mechanisms by its dependency on cavity geometry, flow speed, and resonant mode coupling.
