Catchment Wetness Characterization

Catchment Wetness Characterization is a hydrological analysis framework that quantifies the spatial distribution of long-term water accumulation and soil moisture dynamics within a catchment area by integrating topographic indices, hydrological flow paths, and landscape attributes to differentiate hydrologically functional zones based on their relative wetness potential.
