Cassie-baxter Model

The Cassie-Baxter Model is a theoretical framework in surface science that describes the apparent contact angle of a liquid on a heterogeneous or microstructured surface by accounting for the fractional contributions of different surface components, distinguishing it from the Wenzel model by considering liquid suspension over surface asperities rather than complete wetting of the roughness.
