Capitation Models

Capitation Models is a payment framework in healthcare financing wherein a fixed, periodic fee is paid per patient to a provider or organization, regardless of the actual services rendered, thereby shifting financial risk from the payer to the provider and incentivizing cost-efficient, preventive care delivery within accountable care arrangements.
