Canard-tail Interaction

Canard-Tail Interaction is a fluid-dynamic phenomenon in aerodynamics wherein the wake vortices and downwash originating from a forward-mounted canard surface induce unsteady aerodynamic loads and alter the effective angle of attack on a downstream horizontal tail, thereby influencing the stability, control, and trim characteristics of the aircraft configuration.
