Bubble Entrainment

Bubble Entrainment is a multiphase flow phenomenon in which discrete gas bubbles are captured within the liquid film or core regions of an annular flow configuration, distinguished from other interfacial transport mechanisms by the disintegration of the liquid annular layer into droplets and the subsequent encapsulation of gas pockets due to aerodynamic and shear forces at the phase boundary.
