Boundary-dominated Decline

Boundary-Dominated Decline is a phase in reservoir production behavior, classified under decline curve analysis, wherein the rate of fluid extraction decreases systematically due to the influence of no-flow boundaries that restrict reservoir drainage, distinguishing it from transient decline by reflecting pressure-transient responses across the entire reservoir volume.
