Boundary Layer Modification

Boundary Layer Modification is a process within atmospheric fluid dynamics wherein surface roughness, thermal stratification, or topographic features distinctly alter the structure and dynamics of the lowest portion of the atmosphere, differentiating it from free-atmosphere flow through direct地面-induced perturbations in wind velocity, turbulence intensity, and vertical profiles.
