Bottom Profile Analysis

Bottom Profile Analysis is a hydrographic method that characterizes the morphological structure of the seafloor by examining depth variations and spatial gradients along a two-dimensional transect, distinguished from other analyses by its focus on continuous, high-resolution bathymetric contours to infer geomorphological features and navigational or oceanographic implications.
