Bootstrap Current Equilibrium
Bootstrap Current Equilibrium is a theoretical model in plasma physics that describes a steady-state condition in which the self-generated bootstrap current, arising from pressure gradients and collisional transport in a toroidal plasma, exactly balances the inductive current required to maintain magnetohydrodynamic equilibrium in a fusion reactor.
