Blade-tip Vortex Interaction

Blade-Tip Vortex Interaction is a rotor aeroelastic phenomenon wherein the vortices shed from the tip of a rotating blade interact with subsequent blades or the blade itself, inducing unsteady aerodynamic loads and structural vibrations distinctive from other blade-vortex interactions due to the origin and trajectory of the tip-generated vortices.
