Bit-plane Coding
Bit-Plane Coding is a data compression method that belongs to the class of transform-based techniques, differing by decomposing a multidimensional signal into a series of binary bit planes, each representing a specific bit position across all quantized amplitude values, thereby enabling efficient encoding through bit-level redundancy exploitation.
