Bisexual Identity Development is a theoretical framework within sexual identity research that delineates the dynamic psychological and sociocultural processes through which individuals recognize, interpret, and integrate their romantic or sexual attractions to more than one gender, distinguishing it from monosexual identity models by centering bisexuality as a distinct and fluid orientation.
