Binary Colloidal Crystals
Binary Colloidal Crystals is a type of colloidal crystal composed of two distinct populations of colloidal particles with differing sizes, shapes, or surface chemistries that self-assemble into a periodically ordered structure, distinguished from unary or ternary systems by the presence of exactly two constituent particle types enabling tailored lattice symmetries and phase behavior.
