Bill Structure

Bill Structure is the prescribed organizational framework of a legislative bill that arranges its mandatory and optional components—such as heading, title, preamble or overview, enacting formula, parts, chapters, sections, schedules, and ancillary notes—in a hierarchical and logical order to reflect the internal logic of the measure and facilitate its drafting, interpretation, and application.
