Beam Coverage

Beam Coverage is a radar system performance metric that characterizes the spatial extent and angular distribution of electromagnetic energy radiated by a radar antenna, distinguishing it from related beam-related concepts by quantifying the volumetric or areal region effectively illuminated by the beam over a given distance and elevation or azimuthal range.
