Basin Cold Pools
Basin Cold Pools is a meteorological phenomenon characterized as a type of cold-air pooling in which dense, cool air accumulates and persists within the topographic confines of a valley or basin, distinguished from other cold-air pooling types by its spatial confinement to closed or semi-closed basins and its dependence on radiative cooling and drainage flow dynamics.
