Base-mediated Coupling
Base-Mediated Coupling is a cross-coupling reaction mechanism in which a base facilitates the formation of a carbon–carbon or carbon–heteroatom bond by promoting transmetalation or oxidative addition through deprotonation or activation of a substrate, distinguishing it from coupling processes reliant solely on transition metal catalysis without base involvement.
