Baryonic Accretion is the process by which baryonic matter, primarily in the form of neutral and ionized gas, gravitationally collapses onto dark matter halos and subsequently cools and condenses to form galaxies, distinguishing it from non-baryonic or dark matter accretion processes in structure formation.
