Band Performance

Band Performance is a curricular and pedagogical practice within music education that involves the collaborative rehearsal and public presentation of popular or commercial music by a small ensemble of instrumentalists and vocalists, distinguished from other performance formats by its emphasis on collective improvisation, genre-specific stylistic authenticity, and role-based participation in a rock, pop, or related commercial music context.
