Ballast Optimization

Ballast Optimization is a methodological framework within drawbar performance analysis that systematically determines the optimal distribution and magnitude of ballast weight on agricultural tractors to maximize tractive efficiency and minimize soil compaction, distinguishing it from general ballasting practices by its reliance on empirical or computational models to achieve performance-specific objectives.
