Badly Approximable Numbers

Badly Approximable Numbers is a mathematical concept in Diophantine Approximation denoting a set of real numbers for which there exists a positive lower bound on the approximation quality by rational numbers, specifically characterized by the property that the inequality $ \left| \alpha - \frac{p}{q} \right| < \frac{c}{q^2} $ admits no solutions in integers $ p $ and $ q > 0 $ for some fixed $ c > 0 $.
