Backpropagating Action Potentials
Backpropagating Action Potentials is a neurophysiological phenomenon in which an action potential initiated at the axon hillock propagates antidromically into the dendritic tree, enabling synaptic input to be temporally coordinated with somatic output and thereby influencing dendritic integration and synaptic plasticity.
