Backflush Accounting

Backflush Accounting is a cost accounting method that belongs to the class of inventory valuation systems, distinguished by its practice of assigning costs to inventory only after the completion of production, thereby reversing the traditional sequence of cost accumulation by flushing out the expected resource usage based on output rather than tracking inputs in real time.
