B-scan Imaging

B-Scan Imaging is a two-dimensional ultrasonic imaging technique in non-destructive evaluation that displays cross-sectional views of a test specimen by plotting echo amplitude as a function of depth and lateral position, thereby distinguishing itself from other scanning modalities through its real-time, line-by-line spatial resolution.
