Axonemal Assembly

Axonemal Assembly is a biological process that constitutes the organized incorporation of structural components into the axoneme, a microtubule-based cytoskeletal structure, during the formation and maintenance of cilia and flagella, specifically through the spatially and temporally regulated delivery of axonemal proteins mediated by intraflagellar transport machinery.
