Astrometric Microlensing

Astrometric Microlensing is a differential astrometry method that measures the apparent angular displacement of a background star's position due to the gravitational deflection of light by a foreground lensing object, enabling the detection and characterization of compact masses such as exoplanets, brown dwarfs, and stellar remnants.
