Asset-backed Lending
Asset-Backed Lending is a form of credit extension in which loans are issued to borrowers based on the value of eligible tangible or financial assets pledged as collateral, distinguishing it from unsecured lending by directly linking loan availability and risk assessment to the quality, liquidity, and valuation of the underlying assets.
