Assemblage Biostratigraphy
Assemblage Biostratigraphy is a biostratigraphic method that defines and correlates stratigraphic intervals based on the collective occurrence of fossil taxa within a assemblage, distinguished from other biostratigraphic approaches by its reliance on the co-occurrence and relative abundance of multiple species rather than the presence or absence of individual index fossils.
