Arson Homicide is a subtype of criminal homicide in which the killing of one or more individuals occurs as a direct result of the intentional and unlawful setting of a fire, distinguished from other forms of homicide by the use of fire as both the primary method of concealment or destruction and, in some cases, the direct cause of death.
