Approachability Principles

Approachability Principles is a reflection principle in set theory that asserts, for a given uncountable regular cardinal κ, the existence of unboundedly many cardinals below κ that are sufficiently approximated by elementary substructures, thereby distinguishing itself from other reflection principles by focusing on the extent to which large cardinal properties can be approached by smaller approximations.
