Appointment Of Receiver
Appointment of Receiver is a legal remedy in mortgage enforcement whereby a neutral third party, known as a receiver, is appointed by a court or pursuant to contractual terms to take control of and manage the mortgaged property in order to preserve its value or facilitate debt recovery, distinguishing it from other enforcement mechanisms by its focus on interim administration rather than immediate transfer of ownership or sale.
