Apparent Authority Misrepresentation

Apparent Authority Misrepresentation is a form of third-party misrepresentation in which an agent's perceived authorization to act on behalf of a principal, created by the principal's outward manifestations to a third party, is exploited to convey false information, thereby inducing reliance based on the appearance of legitimate authority that does not in fact exist.
