Apochromatic Optics

Apochromatic Optics is an optical system that belongs to the class of chromatic aberration-correcting lens designs and is distinguished by its ability to bring three distinct wavelengths of light to a common focal plane, thereby minimizing color fringing and providing superior image clarity compared to achromatic or other less corrected systems.
