About

Anti-aging is a multidisciplinary field of research focused on understanding the fundamental biological processes that contribute to organismal aging and developing interventions aimed at slowing, halting, or reversing age-related functional decline. This research investigates the molecular, cellular, and systemic mechanisms of senescence, including genomic instability, telomere attrition, epigenetic alterations, loss of proteostasis, mitochondrial dysfunction, cellular senescence, stem cell exhaustion, and altered intercellular communication, with the primary goal of extending healthspan and mitigating age-related diseases to improve quality of life in later years.
