Angular Momentum is a fundamental dynamical quantity in quantum mechanics belonging to the class of observables that characterize rotational motion, distinguished by its association with the intrinsic or orbital rotational properties of a quantum system and quantized in units of ħ (Planck’s constant) through discrete eigenvalues of the angular momentum operators.
