Angular Discretization

Angular Discretization is a deterministic transport method that belongs to the class of numerical approximation techniques used in the Discrete Ordinates Method, specifically distinguished by its systematic partitioning of the unit sphere into discrete angular directions to transform the continuous angular dependence of the neutron or radiation transport equation into a finite set of coupled partial differential equations.
