Amenable Group Actions

Amenable Group Actions is a concept in ergodic theory and symbolic dynamics denoting a group action by an amenable group on a probability space or compact metric space, distinguished from general group actions by the existence of invariant means or Følner sequences that enable the application of averaging techniques to study dynamical properties.
