Alpine Evapotranspiration

Alpine Evapotranspiration is a hydrological process variable denoting the combined flux of water vapor transferred to the atmosphere through evaporation from snow, ice, soil, and open water surfaces and transpiration from alpine vegetation, specifically occurring within high-elevation mountain environments above the tree line where climatic conditions are characterized by low temperatures, high solar radiation, and seasonal snow cover.
