Air-conduction Testing

Air-Conduction Testing is a pure-tone audiological assessment method that measures a listener’s hearing sensitivity through sound transmission via the outer and middle ear to the cochlea, distinguishing it from bone-conduction pathways by evaluating the integrity of the entire auditory system from the external ear to the central nervous system.
