An Acousmatic Soundscape is a compositional framework within soundscape composition that consists of recorded environmental sounds presented in an acousmatic context—where the auditory source is concealed or decoupled from visual referents—thereby prioritizing sonic morphology and perceptual abstraction over source identification or visual anchoring.
