Absolute Gravimetry
Absolute Gravimetry is a gravity measurement technique that determines the acceleration due to gravity at a point by directly measuring the free-fall motion of a test mass in a vacuum using laser interferometry and atomic time standards, thereby providing a fundamental, calibration-free value traceable to the International System of Units.
