X-ray Diffraction

X-Ray Diffraction is an analytical technique in crystallography and materials characterization that exploits the elastic scattering of X-rays by periodically arranged atoms in crystalline solids to produce characteristic diffraction patterns from which crystal structures, crystalline phases, and related structural parameters are determined.
