Sedimentary Record, Marine Geology, Aso-4の各広域テフラ層を同定・対比した．さらに，mis 5.5～5.4には火山ガラスの主要成分化学組成でK2o量が特徴的に少ないテフラ層があり，大阪湾沿岸コアおよび琵琶湖高島沖コアのテフラ層と対比されること，高野層コアの上部に挟在するアルカリ岩質テフラ層が野尻湖底コアに挟在するbw1466テフラ層と対比され，その堆積年代が39.5kaであることを明らかにした．aso-2，aso-3，aso-4およびアルカリ岩質テフラ層を年代基準として堆積速度を算出し，主要なテフラ層の年代を求め，酸素同位体比ステージとの対応について検討した．その結果，高野層コアは約160kaから約30kaのmis 6からMis +11
