Evidence for Energy-Requiring Processes in Mast Cell Degranulation and Histamine Release in Rat Induced by Sinomenine

Abstract

Sinomenine degranulates in an explosive manner the mast cells of rat isolated from peritoneal fluid, with concomitant histamine release. Evidences indicate that the reaction depends on cellular energy generating processes.
