Administration of contrast media just before cisplatin-based chemotherapy increases cisplatin-induced nephrotoxicity.

Abstract

In patients with exposure to contrast media within a week before cisplatin administration, the risk of CIN was significantly higher than in patients without such an exposure. No additional risk factors for CIN were found in this retrospective observational study.
