Abstract

In this preclinical junctional hemorrhage model, rapid wound sealing improved survival and decreased hemorrhage in both packed and unpacked wounds and performed comparably with standard-of-care hemostatic bandages. Rapidly sealing junctional wounds may be a viable alternative to wound compression.
