Design of Sea-Walls and Breakwaters

Abstract

Sea-wall and breakwater design from the standpoint of the manner and effectiveness with which they reflect or dissipate the incident wave energy are presented herein. Various laboratory results are considered and their implications reconciled, particularly as regard wave up-rush.
